The wait for Kanye West's Album Yandhi has been a long one. It has now been scrapped and being released under the name Jesus Is King which was expected to release on the 27th of September. This was then pushed back to 29th, but, where is it now? Today is the 30th and there is still no album.

However, IMAX announced that it is releasing an accompanying film with the album. It will be released exclusively in IMAX theatres around the world on Friday, October 25, 2019 under the same name.

Though, back to the album: After Kanye West held listening events in Detroit and New York over the weekend, the initial wave of critic reviews has begun to trickle through. It is clear, that there’s an overall consensus. While dissecting the track offerings, overall themes, beats, lyrics, genre-influence, and more, the reviews are united in applauding West for delivering a project that proves he is in fact the greatest of all time.

So, when it drop? I guess we have to find out but hopefully it is sooner rather than later.
